16:How exactly are you feeling at the moment?
Tipsy, tired, in need of a hug and some kisses.
37:Is it easier to forgive or forget?
Neither of them is easy when it comes to important things. In the long run though, I think it’s easier to forgive. Some things just stay in your head and won’t leave no matter how hard you try. All you can do is try to smooth them over.
63:Would you change your name?
15 years ago I’d say yes because my name isn’t very common and a lot of people kept mis-naming me, or whatever. These days I mostly don’t care as long as there are people to call me Mar.
68:Who’s the last person you had a deep conversation with?
Since we’re calling it a conversation and not being spoken at without the person mostly ignoring my own input...
@feelingsdusk, like a week or two ago. Or more. I have trouble with the passage of time due to my work and mental situation. But it was for sure Dusk.
ask me one of these 70 ‘horrible’ questions
People expect so much from love.
They expect their partner to be their perfect movie love. They expect a love that is everything; that is the reason to be, to live. Some intense partnership that changes everything.
That’s not how long term commitments work. It never will be.
I know my fiancée is not the cure to my problems. She’s not some miracle and she doesn’t need to be.
This whole love walks into your life on just the right moment bullshit? No. No, that’s not what matters.
What matters is that she makes the difference.
She might not have the solution to everything, but she cares and that does make it easier. She is not the sole reason to live, but goddammit, she makes a difference.
You don’t want a relationship in which you feel like you can’t live without them. You want one in which you can say, yes. I could live without you. But I don’t want to.
hey, psst! you! hi, hello. i just wanted to let you know i loved the poem you wrote ("lost lately"). very good job! yes, okay! thanks for listening *scatters away*
Oh my gosh, you’re so sweet, Rosie!!!
This might be the first ask I got about any of my poetry and it seriously made my day better. Thank you! I’m so happy you enjoyed my whim of a poem!
Thank you @sapphlock and @allirica for the sweet, thoughtful and absolutely adorable cards.
Love you both!
started today with my usual white hair, not sure what happened after that
I pierced my own ear and Im living™
When you get this you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly. Then, send this ask to 10 of your favourite followers (Non-negotiable, positivity is cool!)💖💖💖
oh you cutie.
i am in a bad place rn, w/ how i feel about myself, but okay. let’s go.
1. i guess my hair? i do want to get it indygo or at least back to green. but... work. (although i started this job with my hair a more green than it is now, so hm.)
2. i may be shit with flowers (i don’t much care for them), but i do good work in the garden? like, i’ve been put kinda in charge of it.
3. my eyesight might not be the best, but i have this annoying tendency to always find the puzzle piece my mom is looking for atm. like, i can just be passing by while mom does the puzzle, pick a piece, put it in place with 100% accuracy. my parents called me “eagle eye/sokole oko” when i was a kid because of that.
4. i’m okay at crafts.
5. ...
nah, sorry, that’s all i’ve got. if i have to think too hard on it that means there ain’t really anything left.
