Sappho is here!!

I’m happy to announce that Sappho, a collection of art and writing celebrating those who love or are attracted to women, is finally here! The images above are just a sample of what Sappho has to offer so I encourage you to check out the entire zine at the link down below. Sappho is entirely free and is a complete labor of love so please send your compliments and support the artists and writers who contributed to this endeavor. All are welcome to enjoy Sappho. Feel free to like and reblog. You are welcome to enjoy the digital copy of the zine or print it out to make your own physical copy. Please remember to be inclusive and kind to others. for those wondering....Sappho is currently 32 pages long (16 spreads- 8.5x11) some works are taking longer to format than others. Working on it more today since I finally have some free time.

For anyone who wants an update: Sappho is about two thirds of the way done! I have a lot of work to do this week so I’m probably not going to be doing much on it for a bit, but....just wanted to give that little update.

hey just wanna ask has the sappho zine been discontinued?? :(

No, not discontinued, I’m just the only one working on it and I have a lot of work to do plus the past year was very draining so it takes a long time to get stuff done. When it’s finished it’ll be released for free.

I’m about half way done. Some artists submitted multiple/long form works so it’s taken me a while to lay some of them out.

Question, what program are you using to put together Sappho? I've been meaning to ask for a while.

I’ve actually been working with a few programs to see what’s easiest for me. I typically design pages in PhotoScape X and then use Pages to experiment with layout, but I’ve also used Photoshop and Indesign a bit if I need to do something specific that PhotoScape or Pages has trouble doing.

Hey, I'm sorry to bother you but did you ever release Sappho? I wasn't able to make anything for it; but I was rlly interested in how it'd go when I saw it a few months ago.

Hi! You’re not bothering me at all! I’m still working on it actually!

It’s been a long process for me since I’ve had a lot going on in my life, but I am still working on it and it’s coming together really nicely. I’ll continue to post updates on it if you or anyone else is interested! 🧚🏼‍♀️

Experimenting with covers for Sappho today. Gotta make sure I pick something good. Testing some stuff out. It’s a long process.
