Reconciliation 🌱
It’s been several hundred years since Kunzite ended his partnership with Sarabauite in order to distance himself from the battlefront. Sara had Wulfenite stand in as a temporary partner, believing Kunzite would get over things and come back sooner or later. Wulfenite, while still jumpy, has grown more confident, and no longer hides from or behind Sarabauite. Their partnership becomes healthier. As time passes, Sara’s anger at Kunzite eases, and one day Wulfenite sits him down to talk. He tells Sara that he can see now that Sara doesn’t hate Kunzite, but that he loves him too much to be able to watch him wither away over Ekanite, and that he was hurt that Kunzite could never devote himself to Sara the way he had to Ekanite. Wulfenite tells Sarabauite to reconcile with Kunzite, and he finally does when the gems celebrate Adamant’s birthday. Sara isn’t big on words, but Kunzite, despite centuries of distance, can still read his silences effortlessly.
