Trouble in the West
It's been a devastating week in the West.
Between the shooting of a woman by her defacto partner in West Footscray, and the heartbreaking tale of Bacchus Marsh girl Sarah Cafferkey's murder and subsequent arrest of three men, it does make you want to look over your shoulder constantly. Both distressing stories, both make you realise how lucky you are to be alive.
Please, no matter your gender, age, anything, PLEASE be careful. Be careful who you trust, who you go places with, who you drink with, be aware all the time, and make sure someone knows, all the time, where you are/what time you are expected home.
Don't ever make the mistake of thinking 'it won't happen to me'. Because I'm sure that Jill Meagher and Sarah Cafferkey thought that. Please learn from their stories.
So, September 22 Jill Meagher was RAPED & MURDERED in brunswick, a beautiful woman, a loving wife, her life taken by a sick twisted low life idiot.
Today? Well the body of a 22 year old Bacchus marsh woman named Sarah Cafferkey was found, yes once again another murder, of a young beautiful woman.
Can i just ask when this is going to stop, when are females actually going to be safe, the suspected murderer of Sarah, killed another girl in 1986, she was 18, he was sentenced to 16 years, only to do 12 years, then be let out to murder yet another beautiful soul.
Why shouldn't these 'Murderers' just be locked away forever to rot in a tiny cell? It would defiantly save many lives. It's disgusting. I'm disgusted. Australian law needs to be changed, we don't need these people on our streets.
This is just hitting way to close to home for me.
2 Beautiful woman, taken way too soon. May they both Rest In Peace xo!
