‘Funhouse’ is an ongoing self-portrait series that reimagines the female nude, challenging conventional ideas of beauty and representation. Through the use of distortion mirrors, this project twists and transforms the body into strange and uncanny forms that are both unsettling and alluring. On a personal level, this project represents a journey of self-acceptance and reclamation. By turning the camera on myself and capturing my nude form through these distorted reflections, I assert control over my own representation. This act subverts the historical trend of male photographers objectifying female bodies, instead presenting a raw, unfiltered exploration of self that is both vulnerable and empowering.
