An afternoon of watercolor and listening to @dontmomalone’s podcast with @sarahmaewrites and then listening to a bit of Sarah’s book The Complicated Heart is just what I needed. I am sad that I can’t be part of @philosophiatrinh’s class on Saturday so I attempted to do misty trees on my own and by my 4th try I must say I am rather proud of this painting. If anyone has struggled with their relationship with their mother you should read The Complicated Heart. I am not even one chapter in and I am already crying!
