Nearly missed to post my finished version of @karolinepietrowski ‘s amazing #mermaytimewithkaroline2024 which I enjoyed drawing so so much 💕 just like all her super aesthetic challenges. I had so many more plans for this #mermay but it rushed by so fast and I can’t believe it’s already over 🥲… I’d like to have some extra days please.

The moment I saw this beautiful redhead fairy with her cute bunny friend 😍 I had to take part in @nimeryart ‘s #nimeryartdahlia #dtiys challenge. But after sketching her, there was so much else to do and afterwards artblock hit me, so I’m now much too late to the party 🙈 Anyways, she helped me find back into drawing and have fun again 🥰

In #mermay I shared my first #drawthisinyourstyle challenge on insta. She is also my contribution for next year’s #fuckyeahcalendar - which is an amazing weekly comic calendar organised by the legendary schlogger (and by the way you can order it on kwimbi or one of the ~60 contributing artists). I got to illustrate a week in August and I instantly wanted to draw a mermaid because I think August is spent best in water.
