Anything by Jorge Luis Borges, especially the "Collected Fictions". For a heavy-duty read, "The Cantos" by Ezra Pound. And Shakespeare is always delightful, especially "Macbeth" or "Hamlet."
Read all of these save for the full bibliography of Borges. I wrote my undergrad thesis on Shakespeare :)
