Other side of the observation deck, that is the rainbow bridge. Didn't have plans to cross the border, but if we had time to go to Canada, that's how we'd get there. And yeah, if it's sunny out you can see rainbows in the area because the falls are always filling the air with mist. (Supposedly, before electric streetlights became a thing you could also spot the occasional moon rainbow, but Niagara Falls is loaded with casinos and other bright tourism things, so that's just some of the falls' magical history now) ~ Last week was my 31st birthday (Happy Birthday to me!), But also last week the U.S. and NY State governments have been shutting everything down to try and contain the Corona virus (what a weird birthday...), so where do you go to celebrate when you also have to avoid crowds? Niagara Falls. Worst time of the year to go there (I'm a local, I would know), but it wasn't crowded and even if the view isn't as great this time of year, it's still a nice walk,...And I was able to haul a bag of dolls along with me with very few questions.
