That's not smoke back there. The Three Sisters Islands are in the upper Niagara river, so what we're seeing from way over here is all the mist rising up from the bottom of the Horseshoe Falls. ~ This week was my 31st birthday (Happy Birthday to me!), But also this week the U.S. and NY State governments have been shutting everything down to try and contain the Corona virus (what a weird birthday...), so where do you go to celebrate when you also have to avoid crowds? Niagara Falls. Worst time of the year to go there (I'm a local, I would know), but it wasn't crowded and even if the view isn't as great this time of year, it's still a nice walk,...And I was able to haul a bag of dolls along with me with very few questions.
