i did & i did too! but i just completely missed all the hints getting towards that, and i didn't open the safe until after i'd already found the diary in the attic lol. to be fair i also finished the game without 4 of her journals haha

prescription ones i totally understand! those have a specific purpose and can't be picked up somewhere for cheap. you're right, definitely brand power, same reason north faces and uggs where all you could see for miles at my hs.
idk why this bothers me so much, like i'm sure some of my purchases seem ridiculous to people, and people can spend their money however they choose obviously but for some reason the sunglasses always get me. i know people who think spending $30 on a pair of jeans is too much, but their sunglasses cost $300 and i am just BAFFLED.
