What's this about?

Basically, I want to swim to Bestival, singing the whole way. Singing a ballad about fate and faith, about endurance and an attempt to do the impossible.

To swim and sing simultaneously is an impossible task, and I hope to reflect that impossibility back onto the concepts of fate and time. As well as creating audio and video documentation of the sung-swim itself, I shall be documenting the training process and creating performance miniatures around the physical, mental and emotional transformations that occur during the training period.

Durational, technological, song-based: that's my live art. And I want to swim to Bestival to make my art, to do something truly extraordinary to raise money for the battle to end cancer, and to remember my aunt who inspired me to do extraordinary things with my life.
