Can I just say that one of the pre-Series characters that really intrigue me is Shiera Seastar, the last of the Great Bastards? There’s just something intriguing about her beauty (I mean she had heterochromia and people just fucking role’d with it cause like it made her more beautiful??? Like fuck yeah?!) but also how manipulative she sounded, with her apparent skill with the dark arts like her mother, how seductive she was, and how she like played with men - especially Bloodraven - cause it entertained her like fuck yes?! 

Plus she was apparently intelligent, read a lot, spoken a shit ton of languages, and had a big ass library? Like I wanna know more about this kickass woman yo.

y’know what’s so fucking weird?

To see other people roleplaying what was essentially a headcanon and theories of just a small group of us, and turn what was headcanons about the Labonairs into like, full blown RP accounts and all of that stuff.

Like that’s so fucking crazy to me, like holy shit.

People RP these characters who were just names in a book, and we turned them into people and others RP them as fully fledged characters.

Viviana, thank you so much! I'm using Loreza for Doran's mother, who was also a ruling princess of Dorne (joannalannister suggested me that name for her for this set, pointing out that some of Oberyn's youngest girls have names attached to his family, so naming Loreza after his mother would make sense, and has become a headcanon of mine, until (if) GRRM says otherwise!)
