I hate reylo as much as the next person but maybe they can divorce fiction from reality?
I guess. It’s just that the ship bothers me a lot because there’s not only no basis for it in canon, it’s also a victim/abuser relationship and that really bugs me. it’s unhealthy and promotes some really dangerous ideas. So I have a really strong and kind of violent (for lack of a better word) reaction to it.
