Wouldn’t Noah be so pretty in ropes? Not heavy and hardcore suspension type, but the kind that looks like art. Bright, electric blue soft rope, pretty knots over sensitive dips and curves like his collarbones or his hips. It leaves gentle marks on his pale skin after, and he just feels so treasured and held together when he’s bound like that. It’s Gansey who does that to him, humming along to some classic rock tune on the radio while he makes his way around Noah with the rope. He makes sure to tell Noah how good he’s being, how lovely he looks in the ropes, checks in often to make sure he’s still into what they’re doing.
Depending on the mood by the time he’s all tied up, he’ll be at Gansey’s feet with his head on his thigh while Gansey pets his hair and reads his book. Other times he gets to cockwarm Gansey while he’s studying, praise falling between the soft contented sound Gansey makes. Sometimes, he’ll get a toy and other times he doesn’t even need one. Gansey encourages him to be vocal about what he wants, but Noah is often content to give Gansey what he wants because the ropes help keep him from feeling so frantic and full of energy. They quiet him down and keep him still.
Blue doesn’t have the patience for the ropes, but she could certainly sit and watch Gansey do it with rapt attention. At times, she’ll be the one to tell Gansey what to do, suggest that he should tie Noah up so they can play. And there are nights when he’s tied up with his legs spread and his arms pinned so Blue can sit on his face and Gansey can make love to him. Or she’ll tell Gansey to sit still and watch while she rides Noah, and Gansey will only pet his hair and tell him he’s good for taking such care of Blue.
Noah deserves the best, honestly. And even if it’s never sexual, if he gets ropes with all his clothes on just to be grounded, that’s all right, too. Gansey and Blue love him and would do that for him.
