The thing about sardoyle is they're both drama queens in the complete opposite directions. Doyle is the sensitive theatre kid from a romantic drama film type dramatic and Sarge is the hardcore action hero dramatic. Luckily both of their fantasies end with doyle getting dipped over and kissed in front of a sunset (though Sarge would have preferred it to be in front of an explosion)
