Sarteene Food Services Offers Delicious Dishes for Catering and Delivery
The extended community quarantine may have placed us stuck inside our homes, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to enjoy delicious restaurant-quality dishes at budget-friendly prices. It does get tiring if you have to think of new items to prepare for the family every day, so I usually order from food delivery services a couple of times a week. This time, I’m trying out these sumptuous dishes from a food catering service that has their clients and some celebrities raving about their dishes.
Sarteene Food Services is a food company that started two years ago and offers catering services, canteen concessions, food trays, and even packed meals for corporate events or other activities. Since the quarantine doesn’t allow big celebrations and parties, Sarteene Food Services is also a good option for smaller, intimate gatherings at home or in the office. As for me, I just really wanted to try out something new for the family and these dishes really look so appetizing.
The Beef Salpicao comes with a generous serving of tender beef strips doused in a buttery and garlicy mushroom sauce. While other beef salpicao versions are usually too oily for my taste, Sarteene Food Services offers theirs with a rich and thick sauce that you can pour on your steaming rice.
Everyone loved the beef salpicao together with its button mushrooms and red bell peppers. I have to say that this is a more homey and Filipino-friendly version that the family and kids will definitely enjoy.
I really love seafood so I was really looking forward to having the Buttered Shrimp. These plump and juicy shrimp were really fresh and easy to peel, so I finished off my portion really quickly. I believe this is really the best way to cook shrimp, using a simple combination of butter and garlic does the trick.
My favorite among the dishes was, surprisingly, the Chicken Pastel. This light and creamy dish is also quite healthy as it comes with a variety of vegetables.
I really fell in love with the rich flavors of the chicken, especially with its creamy sauce. It’s packed with lots of ingredients so you really don’t need anything else to go with it but a plateful of rice.
There’s also the Eggplant Steak which is a highly upgraded version of this common vegetable. This may be the fanciest eggplant dish I have ever encountered but it really does look and taste great. It’s similar to a bistek tagalog but obviously quite healthier.
Finally, the Crispy Pork Binagoongan is a classic Filipino dish using pork slices sautéed in onion, garlic, and tomato, then cooked with shrimp paste or bagoong. The pork was really crispy and it all goes well with the bagoong bits.
I really enjoyed all the dishes prepared by Sarteene Food Services. It’s quite seldom that find a caterer which offers such excellent, high-quality dishes that everyone loved. Now I have a great option for small family gatherings and parties, even during the community quarantine. Call or message them for your orders!
