Don't feel bad about the covid thing! This variation has a more effective breakthrough rate than the previous ones :/ (aka those who've been vaccinated and/or have had covid prior had a higher chance of getting infected by this strain than the others)

that’s good to know about the breakthrough rate, I didn’t know that. it really sucks that it’s spreading around more easily now. i’ve seen people say that it’s more mild than the og covid, which checks out with me because all I got was a sore throat, stuffy nose, a bitchass fever for a few days, and just now losing taste and smell. no coughing/shortness of breath or anything actually severe which is vv good.

Well my dad grew up a hockey fan, so I remember him having on hockey games when I was younger. It seemed interesting enough so I was trying to figure out who to root for, and I stumbled on the fact that Crosby and I have the same birthday. And. You know. Penguins are cute animals. That’s what got me started with the Pens and my love has only gotten deeper over the past years because streaming has let me see most of the games as opposed to the few that were on TV here. Also, I just really love the way that the boys play. Smart and fast and hard-working, instead of constantly hard-hitting and/or dirty like some teams.
Also I uhhh have a tendency to like teams that are nowhere near where I live. See also: Green Bay Packers, Bayern Munich, German national teams, and once upon a time the LA Galaxy. The only sports team I like that’s in Texas is my college. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
