Hello everyone! It is finally that time once again, the time where we open up the suggestion polls for prompts for SASOSAKU MONTH! ❤️ 🩷 We are so excited to get moving with SasoSaku Month 2025! Like previous years, the event will be hosted on our discord server, SasoSaku Central, though we will collect tagged entries for the Sasosaku Month tumblr blog as well.

This year the admin team has decided to switch things up a bit 👀 Each week of SasoSaku Month will represent a season of the year! Creating a fun flow of prompts and ideas.

- Week 1 (Nov 2-8) is spring

- Week 2 (Nov 9-15) is summer

- Week 3 (Nov 16-22) is fall

- Week 4 (Nov 23-29) is winter

This doesn't mean that the prompts you suggest have to be season related, this is a fun aesthetic grouping we'll be trying to play around with. It also means that we won't have a large swath of prompts to feel pressured by every day. This will hopefully give us all a chance to create with some room to breathe, and not feel the stress and pressure of posting daily (which, if you wanna, please do!!)

Of course, we want everyone to submit as many prompts as you want to! And they don’t have to pertain to a specific season. Leave that up to the admin team and submit what your heart desires! 🩷

The prompt suggestion time will be open from September 8th to September 22nd.

Voting on prompts will take place from September 23rd to September 30th.

Once all the votes are tallied up, the admin team will organize them into their themed week, and we will share them all with you hopefully early October, so we have plenty of time to start procrastinating on our creations until SasoSaku Month begins on November 2nd.

Prompt suggestions and voting will take place on the discord server, so please join us on there!

We hope you'll all enjoy this new way of organizing the month. We want to try something new and fun with you all. And if we all hate it, we'll try something new next year! We're never stuck in one thing, in one place in life. We can always switch things around and keep it fun and fresh.

@sasosakumonth Day 2: Witches and Familiars

This is actually my first time creating digital art, specifically using Adobe Fresco with traditional pencil and paper outline.

Inspired by Derry Girls: I imagine Sasori to be the cat familiar that terrorizes the neighborhood and leaves dead animals at Sakura’s coven. Sakura ignores the other witches’ concerns until the arrival of a dead bunny named Fluffy owned by the Uchiha family on her doorstep. Sakura refuses to believe Sasori is the culprit, claiming it’s another cat in the area. Nevertheless she covers up the evidence, flying out to the middle of nowhere to dispose of the body. Sasuke and Itachi come around the coven and immediately (and rightfully) suspect Sasori.
