A Meeting that Changed Fate| Closed| Niccolo and Claudia.
Upon hearing nothing but sheer silence, other then the scratching of Claudia's writing on parchment, the room was empty. Almost too empty. It made Claudia's bones shudder. Claudia rose to her feet, where she flattened out the latest set of wrinkles from sitting, Claudia's posture having a stiff and yet, a more proud look upon her. Her feet upon the marble flooring was heard within the walls, was one of the mercenaries ran past her, having a brief apology, but Claudia's tongue flared out the insults as she snarled, walking up the stairs. The Mercenary was looking for Mario, who today wasn't training.
That was odd...
Too odd for her liking.
Finally deciding on what she was going to do, she walked up the stairs, her hands grasping her dress by handfuls so she didn't trip. Her kept down, to watch her feet as she slowly made her way up. Claudia paused once she reached the top, hearing muffled sounds, and the loudest of all, her Zio Mario caused her to roll her eyes. Claudia let go of her skirt, fixing it once more, a nasty habit she knows she won't shake off as she quietly walked around, to the right and down the corridor, entering her mothers room.
A gentle rapping on the door and she entered having sat upon the bed of her silenced mother. "Mama, what are they doing? Can you hear them?" She quirked a brow, having heard nothing before she sighed. "Si Mama..." She pretended her mother at least said something. "I shall see you tonight with your dinner." She nodded having rose off the bed, fixing it's wrinkles from the bedding and her skirt once more, before setting off to the room where the voices came from. Claudia walked up to the room with the ladder having heard the sounds getting louder with each step.
She was hearing a new voice...
Tucking her back to the wall, she heard something about Ezio and something about him getting killed. Claudia had to shake her head,. Surely that wasn't the case. Ezio has been injured before, but dead? Claudia had to force the thoughts aside as she grabbed a ribbon from her hair and put it to her skirt, tying it tightly as she started to slowly ascend to the top, where she saw her uncle. And a man she never met before....
"Ahhh Claudia! Seems you desired to take a break?" Mario's voice echoed in her mind before she grit her teeth and smiled. "Well, it's hard to work doing the same thing over and over again without one to lose their sanity... I see why you gave the task to me." She smirked, having knew he wouldn't get the insult as the male helped her get up, Claudia whipping the ribbon from her skirt, straightening it as she placed the ribbon accordingly back on her head as she glanced to the new face, having knew it was him that was speaking of her brother. "Besides, I prefer air then stale parchment on any given day."
