Harvey made a pleasant sound as Selina’s plump lips nestled against his own, his left arm winding delicately around her slender waist to haul her further up into his lap. She had straddled him in the chair behind his desk, her arms winding around his neck and angled so her wrists crossed behind and above his head. His left hand shifted to spread out against the center of her back, providing her just a little more support, and his right hand hung to the side of his chair, still clutching the pistol he’d pulled on her when she’d first entered his office.
His eyes opened halfway, and he mumbled against her lips, “It’s real fuckin’ annoyin’ that you get so good at makin’ me forget why I’m mad at you.”

After posing with the rest of the Seven for what seemed like a thousand pictures, Cascade went backstage for one of the only things that made Vought bearable: the snacks. She grabbed a few donut holes in a paper napkin, then casually sidled up to her old classmate. “Hey, Teamie. Can you help me with my boots? Something’s poking me,” she lied, gesturing to the women’s changing area.

Pulling away from her most recent victim, well tuned ears pulled her attentions to the intruder. While the ruins of an old Victorian weren’t up to code, it was a perfect place for a self isolating vampire to hide away from the beaming sun.
The vagrant before her moaned, showing the intruder that life still remained within his chilled body. With his blood coursing through her, Lucy felt -- for the time being -- warm to the touch. Blood spilled over her lips as she stood from the body and set her gaze upon the intruding woman.
“You shouldn’t have come here. It’s not safe.”

🏒 - It was a sucky feeling, the very worst part that came with the job. You don’t think about all the good you do in a days work, but the failures...they haunt you, hang over you, keep you up late at night. Casey took a sip of the offered beer, something to take the edge off as he replayed the night again and again in his head...what could they have done differently? How could they have kept them alive? Truth be told, there was nothing they could have done...but Casey found little solace in the thought.
“Mh...” he grunted, relaxing against the couch as Daisy wordlessly climbed onto his lap. One hand tangled in her hair, holding her head to his throat, the kiss of her lips against his pulse soothing his frazzled nerves. Silently he slid his free hand under her shirt, rough palm smoothing over her back.
She didn’t have to say a thing...they were in tune like that, he could feel it, sense it. He knew what she was doing, what she needed, and he appreciated it. Casey turned his head to return the gesture, kissing tenderly along the curve of her neck.

4. On your fandom.
So, talking about the non-rpc side of it (because the rpc side tends to be more or less sensible. usually.), I am convinced 85 percent of it is braindead. Whether it be people coming up with a fanon that goes against the character and then somehow thinking the fanon is canon and then acting like ‘oh this character is being ooc’ when they’re...actually being consistent is one thing. The other is I swear to god half of them failed reading comprehension because the failure to read subtext / making conclusions based on context clues is STAGGERING. And the other half are incapable of dealing with young characters because the way everyone sees Peter and Shuri as dumb memers is SO annoying I cannot even begin to process it. I can go on the stupidity of this fandom for hours honestly.
5. On exclusivity.
Honestly, its something I didn’t put much thought into until I ended up partaking in it myself. Its definitely something you see the value of once you do it. Like, some specific portrayals of a character become so integral to your muse that its like-- It becomes full on impossible to write with other versions of the character, you know? I understand the whole argument of ‘oh you’re not giving other writers of that character a chance’, which is a very valid counter argument, but sometimes a muse is very much defined by their dynamic with a specific portrayal that compromising that for the sake of ‘giving others a chance’ is...I don’t know, its a very complicated thing to explain. I don’t practice exclusivity often, but when it happens its like lightning in a bottle.
7. On hate.
Man, we’re all just playing pretend with imaginary characters at the end of the day. Calm down, drink some milk, go take a nap, stop hating on anything that does as much as breathe in your direction.
