Utterly exhausted as he was, his feet having dragged behind him for over an hour now as he trudged back to the camp they had set up – after his pleasant surprise of finding her working towards taking down the same dark guild as him –, he just couldn’t find it in himself to sit down and rest. Why that was he wasn’t entirely sure, he knew his body needed it but he simply couldn’t stop, or at least that is what he had believed.
Then he felt her hand slip into his hair and a purr almost instantly rumbled up his throat, his shoulders slumping a fraction as his head tilted slightly to one side in an attempt to lean closer to her hand. He was beginning to think that she had her own special Magic specifically for calming him down, his eyes slipping closed as he mumbled out his response.
“Mmm, just for a minute, maybe…”
