A reminder to anon that just because you've seen more of a show or been in the fandom longer does NOT make you a better fan. Just as not watching as much of the show does not at all invalidate your opinions or the fact that you're still a fan. There are 50 years of Doctor Who. Not everyone has the time to watch classic who right away and its not classic who she's talking about. A decent DW fan wouldn't put down someones right to have an opinion just cause they haven't seen as much of the show.
