After school visitor // Sasuke & Sakura

Tick, tick, tick tock. Sakura repeated in her head, chanting it as if was some sort of mantra. Currently, her line of attention was on the clock hanging on the wall, just above the doorway. The pinkette was counting away the minutes until class would be over, just 30 more seconds and class would be dismissed. Just 30 more seconds and she would be free! Oh man, she would finally get home early for once seeing as she had no shifts at the hospital she was volunteering at today, maybe she would stop by at her favorite dumpling place and indulge in some sweets. The thought was already making her salivate as she rested her head on the palm of her head, too engaged in her fantasies to notice the students already filing out of the classroom.
It wasn’t until she noticed the empty desks beside her minutes later that she finally came back from her daydream. Not one to waste even a second, she began to pack her bag happily shoving all her items inside. Placing the straps around her shoulders, she lightly hummed a tune, walking towards the door, ready to enjoy her free day. Well, that was her plan until she noticed a certain teacher’s handwriting on the board. What she saw brought dread, killing her happy mood in an instant. There on the board was her name written under the section reading “CLASSROOM CLEANUP” and it seemed she wasn’t the only one as she could see her friend Sasuke also had his name written there too.
Great, just great. She thought sullenly, already dragging her feet towards the broomstick, not caring whether she looked weird to her classmate or not. Grabbing the wooden stick, she began to sweep the area she was standing in with much gloom. “Couldn’t they have given me cleanup duty any other day...” She muttered, sighing softly, her head also lowering to add to the expression of disappointment. At least she wasn’t alone, speaking of...Sakura looked up to see her classmate already cleaning. With a smile she approached him, broom in hand, speaking in a too enthusiastic tone, “Let’s work hard to finish this fast okay Sasuke-kun?”
