On The Way To Ruin Your Day

“Are you serious?!”
“Sir, please, there’s no need to raise your voice!”
Ragna could barely hear the comment from the waitress, his face a mask of rage, and his body was tensing up for a fight that wasn’t probably going to come. Hinami's shift had just started at Deja Brew, and she was shelving books. Sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the front of the shop, glinting off the spines of the books. Hinami's fingers itched to pluck one from the shelf and start reading—the light was perfect for her favorite seat in the corner—but she had work to do. When the bell above the door jingled, she turned to greet whomever had just walked into the store.
“Welcome to Deja Brew! If you need anything, just let me know!”
