An Afropolitan Conversation • On Saturdays with Jenny on @kayafm95dot9 yesterday, I joined @mandla_patson and @jcwlife in a conversation about @kumushawines. We tasted the 2019 @kumushawines Cabernet Sauvignon Cinsault blend live with Kaya listeners, it was my first time tasting the wine - and it was incredibly delightful to do so on the telephone with two voices I have missed. • Tasting note: the wine is comprised of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cinsault. I loved the intensity, the upfront spice, and the cherries and red fruit notes. It is also quite a balanced wine, which showed the sagacity of using red varietals from the heat of the Slanghoek Valley. @mandla_patson suggested a game meat pairing, which immediately made me hungry.
