Saturn, the closest finger we have
I created an audioblog about galaxies and how it sounds like in my head. But this song, blue ice, blew me away.
It might just be the video. It might just be the sound of the guitar, the tune of the synth. I don't know. But I feel like traveling to Saturn.
Saturn is the biggest finger in the solar system because it has a lot of rings. It's the closest finger we have.
If this was the case, I wonder what of the five fingers Saturn is.
Let's leave that to the hipsters to decide.
As for now, the galaxy is calling me. I want to get blown away from the center of it all, yet stay still in the linear time. They say that the expansion of the universe is faster than the speed of light.
No matter how fast we travel, we can never reach other places with the continuous distance space provides. This is the reason why we will always be lonely.
Imagine being placed in a prison cell. You see the other person across. But the ground just keeps on expanding and your eyes (that is relying on light) could not keep up. There will come a time that you will no longer see the other person across -- to a point where you question if everything was real the first time.
Was it just a dream, that person across? Is this cell all I have? Is there an escape?
To make it worse, you stay in the same exact cell from the start. You're locked. Your physical entity is part of the cell. And the key? It is just an illusion... Heck you have never seen a guard passing by. You just woke up one day and you were here -- and you stay awake to watch it all. The distance, the silence, the pain of being alone in space.
Luckily for us, we can imagine. A life of imagination is a our means of escape (well, sort of). It is probably the closest thing we have of an escape. The mind transcends space and time for imagination could create universe and galaxies.
Do you believe in that? Well, you should...
Our imagination is our only means to escape while we stay imprisoned. The only means to stay while we move farther away. The only means to go nearer, when everyone is going away.
Imagination is what we all have. Imagination is so powerful that it creates perfect situations and sceneries inside our head. Then a sudden realization comes to you -- an epiphany!
You are but a product of someone's imagination! You are a product of a god.
Now, it's up to that being's imagination. It always has been, it always will be.
So go ahead and imagine...
