Sakura opened the flap to the medic's tent. She was not nearly as exhausted as she should be, after fighting a war for Kami's sake, but she supposed the Yin seal had something to do with that. Storing all that chakra had really paid off, it seemed.
She wondered what she looked like...if the Yin seal filled up that gigantic forehead of hers. The war had been grueling on everyone, and they'd lost a few precious people - Neji included - but in the end their death's were not in vain. Everyone came together to defeat Madara.
Including Sasuke.
There was still so much to ask him, like, Why, why now after everything? But she knew the answers would come in time, when he was ready. All that mattered was that he was safe and coming home.
As Sakura glanced at the raven-headed male, a thousand emotions swirled through her mind. He looked less hateful than their previous encounters. She guessed he'd resolved a lot on his own, and learned a lot in turn. She was so damn curious about everything, but pressing him for information would only cause him to draw further away. Which was the last thing she wanted. Part of her was still unable to process the fact that he was actually back. All those years of fighting, desperate for him to return...and now he was.
"How are you feeling?" she began cautiously, approaching his bedside slowly.
