Terr: "Haha, I'm here on work-- boring adult stuff, yanno? Favor for my brother, really. Nothing biggie, haha! I'm much more interested in watching the tournament!"

"Oh. Well, that’s cool, I guess… ? Bluh!" Harvey shook his head, frowning slightly at the thought of doing ‘boring adult stuff’. “Why don’t you join, instead of just watching? That’d be neater, right?"

Terr: "Neil! Yeah that was his name haha, cute kid. Nice to meetcha Harvey- I'm Terrance."

"Heh heh, yeah, he’s cool! And right back at you, Terrance!" A thoughtful expression flitted across Harvey’s face, only to be replaced by curiosity. “You said you weren’t a competitor, right? What’re you doing here, if you don’t mind me asking?"

Terr: "Oh-- Sheesh, dang you are tall then for your age-- I think I saw another kiddo around your age who's like a whole hand span shorter than ya, gangles."

"Yeah. Heh, I guess I am!" Harvey puffed up proudly, ecstatic at this stranger realizing that he wasn’t as little as previously thought. He grinned widely and then laughed a little. “You aren’t talking about Neil, are you?! ‘Cause if you are, I’m pretty sure he’s a lot shorter than that!"

"My name’s Harvey, by the way! Not ‘gangles’."

Terr: Grins-- "You look promising though! How old are ya kiddo? Really cool that you're here for the tourney at your age, I wish I'd had that sorta ambition!"

"Uhhh— Well, I’m 14! But you know," Harvey squinted at Terrance, 3/4 put out, and 1/4 suspicious. “You’re not all that taller than me! And you don’t look a lot older, either! You… weren’t making fun of me earlier, were you, dude?"

Terr: "Hey, squirt! You've gotta be like one of the tiniest peeps I've seen around here--"

"Auwh, man! You’re joking right?!" Harvey looked dismayed. He could literally feel himself shooting right up and growing, but if he still looked short to others, then what was the point of all his achy, uncoordinated limbs?!

Harvey laughed, although a slightly worried expression flitted onto his face a millisecond later. “Thanks, heh heh! But I thought this was a Laboratory, not a League!"
