“   savage . . .   ”     name  is  exhaled  quietly  into  the  heavy  air .     there’s  a  crease  upon  his  brow ,     pupils  flickering  with  uncertainty  as  sight  rests  on  the  freshly  damaged  horn  atop  the  larger  zabrak’s  head .     𝙣𝙤𝙩  𝙘𝙪𝙩  𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣  𝙖𝙨  𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩  𝙖𝙨  𝙖  𝙛𝙚𝙬  𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 ,     but  the  tip  is  missing .     a  result  of  their  training .     though  not  really  an  accident .   rather -----     𝚊  𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 - 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚎𝚍  𝚙𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚜𝚑𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝 ,    𝚖𝚢  𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚛  𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚎 .     an  old  voice  calls  somewhere  from  a  corner  of  his  mind  he’d  tried  to  lock  away .     but  it  is  not .     so  present  instead .     it  whispers  to  him ,     𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚙𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜   𝚑𝚒𝚜   𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜   𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑   𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎   𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗   𝚑𝚎   𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚎𝚜 .     and  it  steadies  his  voice  when  he  speaks  again ,     now  glaring  at  his  brother .     “   𝐢𝐭  𝐰𝐚𝐬  𝐚  𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧  𝐲𝐨𝐮  𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝  𝐭𝐨  𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 .   ”     lips  form  a  thin  line ,     there’s  no  room  for  arguing  in  his  guarded  eyes  anymore .     but  somewhere  deep  inside  his  hearts  it  aches  to  say  it .     “   don’t  act  like  a  child  about  it .    ”

𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐲  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧  𝐡𝐚𝐬  𝐥𝐞𝐭  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝  𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 ,     barely  reacting  by  the  time  maul’s  fist  comes  flying  for  the  other  horned  head .     but  just  when  the  dathomirian  expects  to  hear  the  satisfying  sound  of  breaking  bones  his  crimson  wrist  is  caught  in  mid - air ,     savage’s  larger  hand  wrapped  around  it .     𝚒𝚝   𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚜   𝚑𝚒𝚖   𝚊   𝚖𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝   𝚝𝚘   𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚑𝚎𝚗𝚍   𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎   𝚖𝚞𝚛𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜   𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚎   𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚜   𝚝𝚘   𝚗𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚍   𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜 .     lip  twitches  with  poorly  contained  anger  and  free  hand  shoots  out  in  a  feral  motion  to  snatch  at  his  opponent .     but  just  before  it  reaches  its  target  it  too  ends  up  in  an  unwavering  grip .      “   LET  ME  GO   !!   ”      he  hisses  through  gritted  teeth ,     glaring  daggers  into  his  lucky  challenger  while  struggling  like  a  wild  beast .     but  all  effort  proves  useless  in  his  brother’s  grasp .      “   𝐢’𝐥𝐥  𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥  𝐡𝐢𝐦  !     𝐢’𝐥𝐥  𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥  𝐚𝐥𝐥  𝐨𝐟  𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦  !!   ”
