हल्का फुल्का WAGHBIL waterfalls trek near Badlapur.
7 of us decided to explore a new place near Badlapur by the name of Waghbil waterfalls on 10.08.2025, Sunday. Raksha bandhan was yesterday.
TIMELINE:
04:20 wake up alarm. 06:40 train to Badlapur. 07:45 reach Badlapur. till 08:15 breakfast. 08:30 - 09:00 travel in rickshaw to base village. 09:10 trek starts at base village Savaroli near Zilla Parishad School. 10:30-11:00 reach Waghbil. 13:20 return starts after lunch. 14:30 reach the base village again. 15:45 board the return train. 18:20 home sweet home.
HOW DID WE GO?
Home > train > Badlapur railway station East > rickshaw > Savaroli > trek > Waghbil > trek > Savaroli > rickshaw to Badlapur railway station East > train > home.
The guide was of immense help as it saves time by not getting lost & he took us safely in the forest. Grade - easy (approximately 3 km distance between Savaroli & Waghbil by trek). Terrain - slippery in monsoon.

It did not rain much and there was a slight drizzle while returning.
& finally we reached WAGHBIL.

EXPENSES (per head):
50/- return train ticket. 100/- rickshaw from Badlapur to Savaroli (3 passengers in 1 rick). 60/- rickshaw from Savaroli to Badlapur (5 in 1). 65/- snacks. 100/- guide fees (600/- was his quote irrespective of the group strength).
Total = 375/- in our usual TTMM way.
