Fear the Walking Dead-Meh
What once was terrifying, exhilarating and new has turned boring, repetitive, and a waste of my time in season 2. It's to be expected that nothing will be as good as TWD to me because I'm a diehard. I'm a deadhead, if you will! I've read the entire comic series, was caught up before the show even started. So it definitely goes without saying that TWD was always going to be better to me. I knew the characters before tv did. But I saw potential in FTWD. I liked how it explored the idea of walkers before we knew what the were. The mistakes people would have to learn from, the fear of the unknown (the suspense because the audience did know). It was awesome. But that wasn't enough, then ended to introduce characters that we could love, hate, and fear. They sort of fell down in this area. There's not much keeping me interested in Madison, Travis, nick, or anyone else...heck I can't even remember everyone's name. I became more hopeful in season two with some of the water scares but they fizzled quickly and took the boring road of turning the kid into a psychopath. Travis' son Chris...I never liked him and am not surprised at all that he went crazy, good riddance! Goodbye FTWD, the only way I'll watch when it comes back for season 3 is if I have nothing better to do. Which now that awkward may not come back...could be a possibility.
