Pigs Peace Sanctuary is a non-profit organization providing a safe haven of love for pigs and their friends.

I just want to share something that near to my heart. In fact, it’s one of the most important issues to me. It’s about the treatment of my fellow pigs at the hands of humans, and about the kind and generous people that devote their lives to saving them and giving them homes where they can recover from the abuse they received.

Millions of my kind around the world are suffering every day. Many even become……food. It’s too terrible for me to even think about. But even though all this darkness, there’s still light to be found. That light is provided by organizations like the one I want to talk about today, Pig Peace Sanctuary.

Pig Peace Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that helps save animals and educates people. Located on 39 acers of meadow and forest just one hour north of Seattle, pigs roam freely to choose where they graze, root, explore, and most of all, sleep. Every day these rescued brothers and sisters get to explore the woods, either in groups or even alone.

Now the gist of this post. I’d like it if you’d all head on over to the web site and check it out, and if you can, lend a hand. Donating money is a big help, but for my peeps that can’t do that, there’s plenty more you can do. If you happen to live in the Seattle area, maybe consider lending a hand and volunteering. If you can’t donate money or aren’t close enough to volunteer, you can share this and raise awareness for this wonderful organization and the good work their doing for my kind.
