Another catchup for the #SaveAussieCritters art prompts and today's #EndangeredAnimalsOfAustralia is the #echidna unfortunately these little guys are also 😭 #CriticallyEndangered and the #AustralianBushfires in 2019-2020 haven't helped at all. The ECHIDNA has spines like a porcupine, a beak like a bird, a #pouch like a kangaroo, and lays eggs like a reptile. Also known as spiny anteaters, they're small, solitary mammals native to Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea.
