but today the mun switched over to be all about Miraculous In Character Tweets AND no longer associated with the RP :(

1. As long as you tag appropriately, we don't mind that you RP with other people NOT in the group.
Tagging appropriately means tagging your alwps posts and your non alwps posts so everyone knows which universe is being talked about.
We DO ask that your posts still remain PG-13, but this is not a Closed Group, it's a Moderated Group
2. If you want to take an old Cracked Universe blog, and make it into an Indie blog, you can
Just remove the #alwps tag from your bio
Make a little announcement so no one gets confused
And note that most Indie Blogs require a small set of rules at least be stated and pinned or on a page

Hey yall!
You may have noticed a few characters haven't been seen in a while
Yeah, they dropped out, and we wanted to give ourselves some time to privately mourn before opening back up those character slots, so we didn't tell anyone
(We were also taking stock of how many people were just busy and how many were actually dropping out)
Anyways!

I've been rping on tumblr for a loooong time so I think I'm the best to answer this
ALWPS is a moderated group tumblr rp, which means that we just make sure everyone using our roleplay tag, #another life with parisian superheroes, is being a decent person and no one is stepping on each other's toes and there's only ONE of each character allowed to be active
right?
an Indie Rumblr RP Blog tho?
it means you do not have a specified group of people you'll rp with
it means you have to make your own group of friends and hope to find someone that's also an Indie blog, that's cool to hang out with via tumblr
it means if you encounter someone that's being a jerk, you're technically on your own in dealing with them
it means that you can block anyone you don't like, and dont have to answer to some main admin about why you blocked them

i come from mainly Indie RPs, being in a group RP is a little new to me because i had tumblr rp group trauma from a well known terrible group that everyone in the Indie community spoke about in hushed tones
even now if i go to one of my indie blogs and say the group name, all the oldies cross themselves or knock on wood or throw some salt
in my experience, Indie Blogs are better in that you have waaaaay more control over yourself and what you post and who you interact with
