Magnus might have wanted to stay with Alec- he still felt raw and uneasy and there were few he could trust himself with- but he knew Alec had paperwork to do and he wouldn't distract him from what he needed to do as the Head of the Institute. Magnus knew too well what it meant to Alec. Besides he'd heard some small part of what was happening with Simon and he thought he'd check in with Raphael to see if he needed any kind of back up. He arrived at Hotel Dumourt and was let in, making his was up and into Raphael's home. "Raphael?"

“Oh my-- SERIOUSLY? Seriously? Can’t you just leave me alone the ONE night I want to freakin’--” In a burst of anger that had been held since the Seelie courts, the vampire kicked at a stack of pallets, the sheer force of the move shattering the wood into pieces. “WHAT do you want, Raphael?!”

Magnus caught up to the vampire just after he passed through the doors of the Institute. Alec was busy with work, there was no point in sticking around for his attentions. Instead he followed after Raphael and tapped his arm as he began to wlk with him.

“Taking the long way?” he asked. “Or will you walk with me a bit?”

Isabelle had found herself at the hotel’s front door less than two hours ago, asking the first vampire she laid eyes on, where she could find Raphael. She should’ve left the moment she was told that he wasn’t there, and he wouldn’t be for another hour. But her clouded judgement told her to stay and wait for him. His words caught her her off guard, a soft sigh escaped her rouge lips.

“I don’t know why I am here.” Isabelle whispered as she tore her eyes away from him to look at her shaking hands in her lap. She’d been shaking uncontrollably since she last saw him. She missed him, she missed his company, but admitting wasn’t something she found easy to do. What ever it was she’d shared with him was different from other relationships she’d had before. And it scared her. “You hid my phone? Why did you hide it? Alec needed me! I was needed Raphael, and you didn’t tell me.”

    "I told you, Raphael, I don’t want anything to do with you.” Isabelle couldn’t believe that he’d bothered to go after her, again. She was done. Done with being used and done with the using. He was just going to end up hurting her again. Knowing that he’d tried to keep her from getting to her family when they needed her, that had been unforgivable. @savedhimsclf // liked.
