I used savefrom.net to download a YT video, but now that I check what I downloaded, the characters speak robotic French instead of English. I check the video on YT again and it's the way it should be. My VРN is set to Germany, not France. WTF??? It didn't even offer me the highest available resolution (1080p) with sound.
Upd: tried Y2mate instead. I don't appreciate it giving me 2 redirects to irrelevant bullshit, but at least I got exactly what I want.
I have the desktop app PNUTDownloader, but it doesn't work with YT blocked.

METHOD 2: IDM
Idm (internet download manager) is the most powerful and popular download manager for windows. Idm speeds downloads by up to 5 times, also allows you to resume and schedule downloads.
Download idm and install from here.
Enable idm extension in your browser.
Play the youtube video that you want to download and click the download button by idm.
Now select the quality for the video that you want to download in the drop down menu.
Click start download in the popup window.

A new tab will be opened
Search for “thumbnailurl“
Click on the url after “thumbnailurl”
