Seattle Artist Spotlight: Sue McNally! Sue is a filmmaker and playwright. Her short films have screened at Bumbershoot and film festivals nationwide. She writes and produces travel related shows for PBS, and is a proud member of Parley Playwriting group. Her play “Hearts” had a workshop production at the Seattle Public Theatre in March of 2014. Seattle Artist Spotlight: Sheri Brown! Sheri is a resident artist of the Tashiro Kaplan Artist Lofts in Pioneer Square. She serves as the Artistic Director of DAIPANbutoh Collective which will produce its 6th Annual Seattle Butoh Festival July 10 -19 featuring the renowned Latino performer/teacher/shaman Diego Pinon who blends Mexican shamanism with Japanese-born butoh dance.  Butoh dance crosses barriers of dance-theater, outer and inner space, personal and universal connections. She lives in Pioneer Square, which in her opinion remains raw, fertile ground for transformation.
