Hi, everyone!
I’m an IB student doing their CAS project (volunteering and community service program, basically), and due to my interest in the environment, I’ve decided to dedicate my project to this:
Along with my collaborators (friends), we have been going out to local community spaces (mostly parks) and cleaning. Still, we have a few outings to do, but I have decided to compliment our initiative with social media in order to provide my own, personal reflection as well as the action itself. This, I think, is actually the most important part of it all.
We all know climate change exists.
Hell, we notice it every day. Every day less that winter lasts?
Every slightly hotter afternoon?
Yeah. And I know I’m not the only one who thinks about this. So, I hope to reach an audience who genuinely has the same concerns as me, and motivate you all to do something like me. Whether that’s actively going out and cleaning your local environment or just picking up the garbage you see when you’re out and throwing it in the bin, you can make a difference.
