We recently had the opportunity to help out at the NKLA Adoption Event at the La Brea Museum over May 2-3rd, and it was wonderful! We brought out our calico costume, to raise awareness and promote the very special rescue we volunteer for: www.CatLove.org! There were so many animal advocates and proud new pet moms and dads, it was wonderful getting to meet with each and every one of them. We were so fortunate to meet the very talented animal behaviorist Jackson Galaxy (of Animal Planet's 'My Cat From Hell'), and the excellent Timothy Omundson from 'Psych' and 'Galavant'! Just because the event is over doesn't mean our work is done! Our rescue Cat Love still needs help. It's kitten season now which means so many more mouths to feed and fix, and they need donations to help provide food and litter for their network of foster homes (like me!). We currently are fostering a beautiful young mom and her 6 adorable kittens, all growing fat and healthy and will soon be ready for adoption through Cat Love! Please consider donating through their website www.CatLove.org so we can keep every kitty fed and healthy till they find their forever homes! Our favorite clinic Fixnation needs help too! If they can raise the most donations before June 5th, they could win a 50k grant from the Saving Pets Challenge, to help them continue offering low-cost and even FREE spays & neutering for low-income households and feral cat colonies in Los Angeles. https://www.crowdrise.com/FIxNation-savingpets2015 http://fixnation.org My dream is to someday see no deserving companion animal go without a loving home. It starts with spaying and neutering, and Fixnation is such a wonderful resource!
