So this past week I read Saving Zoe by Alyson Noel. It's a phenomenal read and another one of those books which you don't realize the impact of until it hits you at 2 in the morning while you're staring at your ceiling. The feelings I had after I was done reading this were quite similar to the ones I had after reading Thirteen Reasons Why(not that they're the same). You know a book is good when even the simplest form of writing can hit you so hard. I loved all the characters and how imperfect their feelings were. I especially loved Zoe. It's a book I wish more people knew about cause it's so simple and yet so complex and focuses on issues that are even more relevant now than they were 13 years ago. It focuses on cyber abuse, drugs and is centered around a murder and yet isn't as morbid as one would think for it to be. But more so it focuses on relationships- relationships between two sisters, between family, between people in general. It's a must-read for me. I'm a huge fan of both Laura and Vanessa Marano and now the book too so I can't wait for the movie to come out! Have you read it?
