[SMS] I'm sorry. Remember that I love you, okay?
With his elbow propped upon the railing of his bedroom balcony, he tucks his chin onto the palm of his hand and steadies his gaze on the sunset. A beautiful array of colors merging together and painting an exquisite canvas across the sky’s premise. Though all had seemed to be at peace with the vampire, his mind was jumbled with uncanny thoughts of that revolved around his past. Luhan hasn’t spoken much about what happened in Beijing. Out of sight, out of mind. He generally told himself when such things have slipped into his mind, but that hadn’t been the case. He regrets it. He regrets everything.
He snaps from his train of thought when his phone vibrates in his hand, signaling him that he’s received a message from someone. Fingers curled around the cellular device, he brings it up and holds it out in front of him. Following along with the narrowed text displayed on his screen, he reads it aloud to himself.
Remember that I love you.
Words of endearment echoed through the neural interstices of his mind, but he couldn’t comprehend what the other had meant. Of course, Luhan knows that Joonmyeon loves him, but suddenly stating the words ‘I’m sorry’ in the message was what perplexed him. Could he have gone somewhere without notifying the vampire of his whereabouts? That would explain why he isn’t home at the moment.
[SMS] Why are you apologizing? You haven’t done anything to upset me. By any chance, have you done something you regret?
