“you WATCH yours.”  she retorts, almost immaturely.  she’s been tasked for keeping an eye on him during his time at the sanctuary, frankly she’s not exactly fond of how negan had treated him.  if anything, she HOPES to offer some form of FRIENDSHIP, she didn’t want him thinking that everyone at the sanctuary was bad.  and at the same time she can’t exactly blame him for hating everything the saviors stood for.  “you need a bath.”

“Yeah, NO SHIT.” Voice is croaky and not nearly as loud as he’d like -- symptoms of being silent for so long. He’d usually STAY silent around Saviors, but his defiance still burns and sometimes he can’t stop himself ( and whoever his new caretaker is, she hasn’t hit him for talking back yet, which is all the encouragement he needs to continue ). “They ain’t exactly got th’ best ROOM SERVICE here.”

I just want to let you all know how much I truly appreciate all of you, especially those who have put so much thought into an OC. you are all so important and talented ! I cannot list all of those i’m following but even if I haven’t, I want you to know just how appreciated you all are.  i’m going to try and give a shout out to two writers every day, spread some positivity on here.

with that being said, you should all go follow @saviored & @valrdisi, two wonderful oc’s that i’ve had the pleasure with plotting & writing with.

HE'D HOPED HE WOULDN’T HAVE TO come face to face with Elanah again. Still a savior, yes, but one who had shown kindness throughout his time at the Sanctuary, and one he hoped wouldn’t have to die. He won’t shoot unless given a reason, but crossbow doesn’t lower. “You ain’t gonna win this.” A pause. “Fightin’ for Negan ain’t gonna do you any favours.”

HE STARES AT HER for a long moment, studying her, sizing her up. Then, a nod: a gesture of acknowledgement, of respect, and his gaze turns less stern and more ---- welcoming, maybe. “Glad t’ have y’ with us.” And he means it, because not only is she capable and strong, she’s the closest thing Daryl had to a FRIEND back at Sanctuary. “Y’ are with us, right ??”
