                                      she was NERVOUS , being escorted by dwight to the BIG BOSS MANS lair was something that would make anyone a little timid . she hadn’t done anything BAD had she ? she couldn’t recall wronging him . maybe he just had to ask her a few things -- she had to remember to not automatically assume the WORST .    ‘ knock knock . ’    she stood in the doorway , hands crossed in the front as she tried not to FIDGET .    ‘ hi negan . ’    she smiled softly -- WEAKLY almost .    ‘ uh , you wanted to see me ? ’

TRUE LAUGHTER slipped over her lips as she buried her head into his wet shoulder as the water fell over them from the shower head like rain. She slid herself off of him, making sure that BOTH feet were on the tiled floor.

Dying from busting her ass in the shower because they’d gotten a LITTLE carried away with being together wasn’t something she wanted the whole world to know.

She pressed a wet kiss to his shoulder as she looked up at him, wet her pressed against her skin as water droplets moved at a snail’s pace down the curvature of her facial features.

❝ Maybe we should move this PARTY to some place that’s less slippery? ❞

She hadn’t meant to become so sick. Lisa had spent her time trying to not allow a few coughs here and there get the better of her, but coughs had turned to FEVER and all other manner of incapacitating side effects of the the flu.

In a fevered state, she could SENSE him there with her, but any attempt to make sense in speaking was all but gone in her current state. Blonde hair fell over her sweating forehead as she felt herself being picked up from her place on the bed that had been her COMFORT for the better part of a week.

She’d kept SILENT about how she was feeling, forcing the illness to turn UGLY.

Words were soft, tinged with exhaustion as she pressed her head against his shoulder, feeling the constant beating of his heart, ❝ No. I don’t wanna go. ❞
