In the Hand of Dante Trailer
A 21st century author is recruited by a mafia boss to steal a version of Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy that was handwritten by Dante. His story is paralleled by Dante's own in the 14th century as Dante seeks "inspiration to write his most important work – each man unknowingly connected through time and their obsessive quest for love, beauty, and the divine." In the Hand of Dante, based on the novel by Nick Tosches, stars Oscar Isaac, Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler, John Malkovich, Sabrina Impacciatore, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, Jason Momoa, Louis Cancelmi, Franco Nero, Benjamin Clementine, and Paolo Bonacelli. The film is directed by Julian Schnabel from a screenplay by Schnabel and Louise Kugelberg.
