Faf is unlikely to play in the Boxing Day Test v Zimbabwe as he is yet to recover from a back injury, shoulder surgery and a recent virus (but attended the press conference yesterday). The stand-in captain is likely to be Dean Elgar. SA will play its first day-night Test over 4 days with amended playing conditions in Port Elizabeth. AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn are available for selection. SA play a 3 Test series v India starting 5 January.
