there's an "emperor defence" post that starts with a point on how bg3 tries to show you that not all illithids are evil even though they're generalised like that in dnd lore (true) and then half through the post op says that freeing orpheus shouldn't be considered a good action because githyanki are an evil race and gives a link to forgotten realms wiki. i wish i was exaggerating but it's literally how it's written
