i cant remember if it was an AMA or an early Q&A episode where adam (or maybe another writer?) said that the early seasons were influenced by members of the writing team working low wage manual labor jobs and its so interesting to me... i wish we got more development of the low tier residents. as much as i love the ai dev teams

also speaking of sayer and politics. learning more about the history and Present status/existence of company towns makes typhon much more sinister imo... like aerolith is obv intended to be Evil but its interesting how the politics just arent talked about or really challenged outside of a vague "we need to value humanity/life more" thing in the later seasons

due to a mixup at the ai script factory a group of confused typhon residents have been greeted as "my problematic pumpernickel", and the digital circus crew has gotten "I........ AM CAINE!!!!!!!", at the top of his voice to make up for its lack of endearments
