"Thanks very much!" Rhienne grinned, picking up her tea cup and dropping a few yuan in the tip box before scuttling away from the busy counter. It was more crowded than usual in the small tea house across the street from the police academy, even if it was the middle of the day. In the corner of her eye she saw a woman about her age, maybe a little older, stirring her tea absentmindedly. Her hand looped in lazy circles around her cup, it’s contents swirling slowly. Her long straight hair fell past her shoulders and half way down her back, a rich violet color which did not stick out as much as it would have in the colorful tea house interior. Rhienne approached and smiled shyly.
“Hello… Do you mind if I sit?” She asked, tucking her hair behind her ear. The woman looked up, and Rhienne was shocked to see golden eyes, rather than the brilliant blue so characteristic of water benders.
