I'm still trying to figure out if home is the place we run to or somewhere we run from?

There are days I struggle to get out of bed, but when I do, it’s a personal achievement. There are days when walking out the front door, pretending my broken pieces are intact is a hassle but when I do, it’s a personal achievement. There are days the thoughts that supposedly only haunt you at night, creep up on me at 8 am and sometimes it’s too much to handle, but when I get through it, it’s a personal achievement. It’s the little battles I face everyday and overcome that make me proud; they are what I call my personal achievements that no one will know about

There will not come a day that I chase after anyone to prove that I matter. Remember that.
“I was significant before you entered my life and I shall remain that way even after I die. I matter.”

For the days you struggle to lift your head off your pillow; For the days you feel your world silently shattering; For the days you feel like no one understands you- Find refuge in my words.
"For you (you know who you are)"

This is a poem: I have nothing to say.

Reminders: i) Stop running. Mould yourself into a different person - someone you like, someone you will not run from because we have spent most of our lives running from things. For once we should want to run towards something. ii) Stay. Whenever the other person seems to be in it for the long haul, attempt to be just as committed. Fear commitment no more. iii) Be free. Freedom is a state of mind and you should plan on grasping it. iv) Stop searching. Wander this life aimlessly without looking specifically for happiness, for somewhere to call home because it will come in time. v) Have patience. Patience really is a virtue. vi) Stop. Stop trying to control everything. Some things are beyond your control. Let it be. Let it go.
'Reminders I really fucking need from time to time'

Some days I gulp down my words as if they are not worthy enough to be said aloud. On those days my mind races marathons endlessly as it tries to unravel the string of thoughts that have become tangled and chaotic. I'm left gasping for air and I look around to see the faces of the oblivious - very few of which can sense the air being viciously guzzled by my heaving lungs as they try to remember how to breathe. Silent internal eruptions, generating shock waves, inducing trembling legs - awkward glances, mildly concerned expressions, I'm going red - And I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't fucking breathe.
'Panic attack - a sudden overwhelming feeling of acute and disabling anxiety'
